Desde o Big Bang e o início da expansão cosmológica, os objetos existentes no universo assumem distâncias relativas entre si cada vez maiores. Como a luz se propaga a uma velocidade constante e finita, as distâncias tornam-se eventualmente grandes o bastante para que nem um intervalo de tempo do tamanho da idade do universo seja suficiente para que a luz de alguns objetos alcance outros.

Assim, tais objetos não poderiam ser observados a partir dos locais ainda não alcançados por sua luz. Estendendo este raciocínio para objetos em diversas posições e em diferentes instantes de tempo, percebe-se claramente que há um limite de observação possível no universo, que varia com o tempo e é diretamente influenciado por sua idade.

Define-se como “universo observável” a região do universo que contém toda a matéria que pode ser observada do nosso planeta no tempo presente. Assumida uma distribuição uniforme e homogênea de radiação no universo, pode-se dizer que a distância de um observador situado na Terra à fronteira do universo observável é praticamente a mesma em todas as direções. O universo observável, portanto, é uma região esférica centrada na Terra.

A denominação observável denota uma importante distinção a ser feita com o adjetivo observado. Dizer que existe uma fronteira que define o universo observável a partir da Terra não é o mesmo que dizer que tudo o que existe dentro dessa fronteira já foi observado. Equivale, na verdade, a dizer que toda a radiação que parte de um objeto dentro dessa fronteira pode, em princípio, alcançar um observador terrestre. Note-se que a porção observada do universo depende fundamentalmente da tecnologia e das técnicas de observação disponíveis.

*Update 15/09/2020
Recent update for Nebula Cosmos has changed fixed some issues with the Black levels. Bluetooth and HDMI sync seems to have been fixed.

Netflix app through Nebula Manager now broken, unusable. - hoping for another update shortly.

*Update 08/10/2020
New Netflix TV App from Nebula Manager fixes the broken version from the last update. It's the proper Netflix TV version and not Netflix with mouse support so tv navigation using remote is far easier.

Most other issues in other updates have been fixed.

This mix was inspired by the legendary Dakim. To me he's one of the most inspiring artists on this planet. I used his live loop beat method to record this session.

The Cosmos is looping half a bar and i'm adding elements and let the loop fade out a bit from time to time to make room for new stuff. I'm using the rhythmic firmware with the Cosmos and the normal looper mode which just loops without the random glitchy stuff that the Cosmos is typically known for.

Ces découvertes conférent à l'Homme moderne un sentiment de toute puissance sur le monde qui l'entoure. Mais à l'inverse, la prise de conscience de l'immensité de l'univers a plus que jamais rapetissé l'Homme. Alors qu'il y a quelques siècles, l'espèce humaine pensait être le centre du monde et plaçait la terre au centre de l'univers, la cosmologie moderne a scientifiquement prouvé l'erreur de cette perception. Les Hommes assignaient alors à l'humanité une place au premier rang, mais aujourd'hui, la pensée tend plus à considérer l'espèce humaine comme une poussière de sable apparue par hasard dans un vaste océan cosmique.

L'espèce humaine a-t-elle une place privilégiée dans l'univers ? Comment la terre, la vie puis l'Homme sont-ils apparus ? Quel avenir peut-on prédire à l'Homo sapiens ?

💥 L'Immensité de l'Univers :
• L'univers est l'ensemble de la matière et de l'énergie distribué dans l'espace-temps. Il se compose de milliards de galaxies, constituées elles-mêmes de milliards d'étoiles autour desquelles peuvent graviter des planètes formant ainsi un système. On estime aujourd'hui que le diamètre de l'univers observable serait de 100 milliards d'années lumière. Toutes les structures le composant sont en perpétuelle évolution.

La galaxie dans laquelle évolue l'Homme est la Voie lactée. Riches d'au moins 200 milliards d'étoiles et de plus de 100 milliards de planètes, les scientifiques estiment son diamètre jusqu'à 200 000 années-lumière. La Voie lactée abrite le système solaire et par conséquent, la terre, le point d'attache et d'origine de l'Homme. Observée de la terre, la Voie lactée s'apparente à une bande blanchâtre formant un arc dans le ciel.

Parmi les étoiles constituant notre galaxie, il y en a une, majestueuse, qui scintille et prodigue lumière et chaleur à tout notre système, c'est le soleil.
Distante d'environ 150 millions de kilomètres, le soleil est l'étoile la plus proche de la terre. Le système solaire est défini par l'étoile, le soleil, et par tous les objets célestes qui gravitent autour d'elle. Parmi eux, huit planètes confirmées dansent autour du soleil sur le rythme du plan de l'écliptique : Mercure, Vénus, Terre et Mars qui sont des planètes telluriques principalement constituées de roches, et Jupiter, Saturne, Uranus et Neptune qui sont des planètes gazeuses principalement constituées de gaz. D'un diamètre de 1,4 millions de kilomètres, le soleil représente à lui seul 99 % de la masse du système solaire. Les scientifiques estiment qu'il en est à la moitié de sa vie et qu'il pourrait encore brûler pendant 5 milliards d'années. L'énergie dégagée par cette sphère de lumière est d'une importance capitale pour la vie sur notre planète, et nos ancêtres en ont pris conscience très tôt. En effet, nombre de civilisations ont étudié son mouvement annuel afin de définir des saisons et d'en faire un allié dans leur agriculture.
