JAKARTA, KOMPAS.TV - Berkedok body checking, sejumlah finalis Miss Universe Indonesia diduga mendapat perilaku yang tidak menyenangkan dari oknum penyelenggara acara.

Tabir gelap ini terbuka, saat sejumlah finalis Miss Universe Indonesia melaporkan PT Capella Swastika selaku organisasi penyelenggara Miss Universe Indonesia ke Polda Metro Jaya karena dugaan pelecehan seksual.

Tanpa pemberitahuan, para finalis tiba-tiba dipaksa melepas busana untuk pemeriksaan tubuh atau body checking dan didokumentasikan. Saat itu, bahkan ada sejumlah pria di dalam ruangan.

Mereka bahkan mengaku mendapat kekerasan verbal dari penyelenggara saat diminta melepas busana.

Peristiwa dugaan kekerasan seksual itu, terjadi di salah satu hotel di Jakarta, pada (1/08/2023) lalu, saat mereka seharusnya menjalani pengepasan busana malam dua hari jelang malam grand final di Bali.

Menurut pengacara korban, dari 30 kontestan Miss Universe Indonesia 2023 yang diduga dilecehkan saat menjalani pemeriksaan tubuh.

Salah satu kekhawatiran, para korban adalah adanya CCTV di lokasi dugaan terjadinya pelecehan seksual.

Khawatir foto pemeriksaan badan dapat disalahgunakan, sejumlah finalis Miss Universe Indonesia ini akhirnya melapor ke polisi.

Dan pada Rabu (9/08) kemarin, penyidik subdit remaja anak dan wanita Direktorat Reserse Kriminal Umum Polda Metro Jaya, menjadwalkan pemanggilan pemeriksaan terhadap kontestan Miss Universe.

Tak hanya kontestan, polisi juga memeriksa Melissa Anggraini selaku kuasa hukum korban dugaan pelecehan seksual di ajang Miss Universe Indonesia.

Pemeriksaan dilakukan untuk mengklarifikasi peristiwa dugaan pelecehan yang dialami korban.
