Остров Аруба знаменит своими пляжами, бирюзовым морем, розовыми фламинго, игуанами, марсианскими пейзажами и древними пещерными рисунками. В том числе здесь расположен Пальм Бич, лидер всевозможных рейтингов.


ЧЕМ ЗАНЯТЬСЯ НА АРУБЕ

1️⃣ Конечно же, Аруба славится своими пляжами:

🏖Eagle Beach - огромных размеров пляж, здесь мелкий белый песок, бесплатные пальмовые зонтики и платные лежаки.

🏝Arashi Beach - нетуристический пляж с кристальной бирюзовой водой
⠀
🏖Palm beach - здесь куча отелей и всевозможных развлечений, но вода не такая чистая (ещё бы столько катеров носятся направо и налево) Зато по вечерам - классные вечеринки в Moomba beach🍹. Кстати, днём как раз здесь можно провести время, если Вы не гость отеля на берегу.

🏝Mangel Halto - дикий пляж утопающий в мангрововых деревьях.

🏝Boca Catalina Beach - прекрасный снорклинг и атмосфера, нет туристов.

🏝Baby Beach - идеальное место для детей, чистейшая вода и неглубоко.
⠀
🏝Grapefield Beach - дикий пляж, где просто невероятный цвет воды, а рядом пляж для кайтсерферов.

2️⃣Национальный парк Arikok.
Именно здесь те самые пещеры: в одной можно увидеть доисторические рисунки, а в другой - сказочные узоры. Да, и вообще пейзажи завораживают! Но не повторяйте моей ошибки - берите джип для такой экскурсии, ведь на обычной машине не добраться до Natural Pool- природного морского бассейна и удивительного пляжа Boca Keto.

3️⃣Пляж с розовыми фламинго 🦩(см. предыдущий пост). Да, ещё их можно увидеть на детском острове Palm Island, но там они не ручные.

4️⃣Затонувшие корабли ⚓️- это и дайвинг к кораблю Antillа, и просто снорклинг у корабля на пляже Pos Chiquita. А также у берегу Арубы есть ещё и два затонувших самолета.

5️⃣ Субмарина Atlantis ⛴- это подводное путешествие к коралловому рифу и затонувшему кораблю.
⠀
6️⃣ Катамаран на закате ⛵️- сплошное веселье: танцы, напитки и весёлая компания.
⠀
7️⃣ Zeroover 🍤- ресторан для местных со свежего улова: что поймали, то и подают. В меню только: рыба, креветки, картошка фри и жаренные бананы. Жаль только что все готовят во фритюре.

8️⃣ Заглянуть на ужин или на коктейль на закате в Old Man end the See - здесь сказочная атмосфера

9️⃣Casibari Rock Formations ⛰- небольшой красивый парк с валунами, откуда открывается прекрасный панорамный вид на весь остров.

🔟Казино 🎲- они тут не только легальны, но ещё и выигрыш не облагается налогом.


ИНТЕРЕСНЫЕ ФАКТЫ ОБ АРУБЕ

Аруба - часть королевства Нидерландов, хоть и независимая
⠀
Игуана - это символ острова, они здесь на каждом шагу, причём пляжи они тоже не обходят стороной. Игуаны охраняются законом, что не мешает местным готовить их на обед. Они жили здесь задолго до появления людей, как минимум за 5000 лет. Игуаны могут укусить, но они вегетарианцы

Вода - она здесь везде питьевая, на Арубе самая совершенная в мире система очистки морской воды: вода из под крана и в бутылках - одна и та же. Правда здесь нет горячей воды в принципе!

На берегах Арубы есть аж целых два затонувших корабля, так что под водой есть, что посмотреть.

Основная денежная единица здесь - флорин, да тот самый флорентийский флорин! Все дело в том, что из Флоренции эта валюта перекочевала в Нидерланды, а оттуда уже на Арубу. Причём соотношение доллара к флорину с 1986 года ни разу не менялось, так что здесь можно свободно расчитываться долларами.

Аруба - самый солнечный остров на карибах. Здесь не бывает сезона ураганов и дождей.

Аруба - это «счастливый остров», на номерах машин вместо страны пишут: one happy island. Все жители здесь просто излучают счастье. Поскольку они в любой момент могут уехать в Европу, оставаться на острове - личный выбор каждого, так что никакой Вам фрустрации и островных жалоб.

Фламинго здесь в природе не живут🧐, только на частном острове.

Когда Арубу открыли испанцы в 1499 году, они назвали остов «бесполезным», так как не нашли минералов. Это уже потом здесь обнаружили золото, оттуда и название (oro - золото).

Здесь говорят на 5 языках: папьяменто (мамины диалект), английский, испанский, немецкий и голландский. Это самый многонациональный остров на карибах.

20 % острова занято охраняемым природным парком.

Здесь растут деревья Divi Divi, которые всегда обращены кроной на запад! А в их тени очень приятно лежать на пляже.

The arrivals and departures are very easy at the Oranjestad Aruba cruise port. There are 4 spots for ships, you will be docked at berth B, C, F or G all of which are close together.It is not a far walk to the terminal building or out of the port, it only takes about 5 minutes which is awesome. Being that it is not a large dock there were not any trams. If you are interested in an Aruba tour there are companies right at the port offering Aruba cruise excursions. Just remember to leave lots of time to get back to the port as the cruise ship will not wait. You can always book an excursion with the cruise line and they will wait.

The Aruba cruise port is really a jumping off point to start your Aruba trip. There aren't any restaurants or bars at the cruise port, I think that is because you are just a just a short walk from the restaurants, shops and bars downtown. Most people will be going there instead of staying at the port. So when planning your Aruba trip you will want to think about exploring outside of the port.

In our Aruba cruise port guide we also talk about what is near the port so you have some ideas. If you are interested in exploring the island on your own the public buses are affordable and stop at many beaches, taxes are also a great way to explore the island. If you are interested in shopping the town of Oranjestad is right outside the port. Some of the other common places to visit in the downtown area are the Archaeological Museum of Aruba, the Fort Zoutman Historical Museum, and the Renaissance Mall and Marketplace. As we said you can book your Aruba cruise excursions with the cruise line, explore on your own or book at the port. The top 5 beaches in aruba are Eagle Beach, Baby beach, Palm Beach, Arashi and Druif Beach. I'm usually all for walking but it seemed like a bit too much of a walk in the heat of the day so I would recommend taking a taxi or the bus instead. So when thinking about Aruba things to do, you have lots of options from a chill beach day, shopping or a more extreme excursion.
