- La noción de infinito entra en juego desde el momento en que se pretende calificar algo que no tiene límites, ni fronteras, ni en su número ni en su tamaño. Ya sea abordado en las matemáticas, la filosofía, la metafísica o incluso la teología, el infinito ha tenido un fuerte impacto en la historia, lo que implica un cambio radical de perspectiva con cada descubrimiento.

Something weird is happening to the Earth’s magnetic field and NASA is worried. There’s a large magnetic dent over South America and South-west Africa that’s splitting and growing. The intensity of our planet’s magnetic field is significantly weaker than in other parts of the globe. This is known as the South Atlantic Anomaly. The reason NASA is worried and actively tracking it is because many spacecraft and satellites, including the International Space Station, pass over this region. This exposes them to several minutes of strong ionizing (aɪ.ə.naɪˈzeɪ - ing) radiation, caused by the trapped protons in the inner Van Allen belt. Scientists are still not sure what causes the anomaly, or how it will continue to evolve in the future. However, they are working to better understand it, so that they can mitigate its effects on future space missions.

🌍 Astrophysicists are in a perpetual quest for answers, trying to understand the workings of the Universe, which is full of celestial objects, often enigmatic, but so extraordinary. If luminous stars have long monopolized researchers and astronomy enthusiasts, today they are far from being the only ones to occupy the minds of the curious. Black holes are probably the most fascinating objects in the cosmos, both for their strangeness and for their devastating capabilities.

💥 Black hole, cosmic monsters:
- But how can such a cosmic phenomenon occur? Scientists believe that some black holes, known as primordial, appeared shortly after the Big Bang in the early universe. Supermassive black holes have been discovered in some galaxies, allowing us to consider that they were created at the same time as their host galaxy.
Another category of black holes could be the result of the death of a massive star, when it collapses on itself, causing a supernova. If a black hole occupies zero space, it has a very large mass. This mass represents the major part of the mass that was once that of a star. Of course, as gluttons, black holes become more and more massive as they gobble up the surrounding matter. The zone of no return, i.e. the event horizon, gradually grows with the black hole.
The existence of black holes in the Universe can lead to another reflection. If they absorb everything in their path, can they represent a real danger? But first of all, are there many of them? Or are they quite rare anomalies?

One question is certainly on your mind. If black holes are invisible, can we still describe them? The answer is yes!
On the one hand, scientists have been able to study them thanks to the techniques previously described, but on the other hand, an image made the rounds in 2019. The international team of the Event Horizon Telescope has unveiled, after two years of data processing and more than ten years of work, the first ever photo of a black hole. It is the picture, made with very long baseline interferometry, of the supermassive black hole M87, nestled in the heart of the galaxy M87, located 55 million light years from Earth. We can discover a black disk surrounded by a ring of light, corresponding to the shadow of this colossal object. Its mass is equivalent to 6.5 billion solar masses and the diameter of its event horizon is estimated at 254 astronomical units, that is 254 times the distance to the Earth and the Sun!
But let's take a closer look at this strange object in order to reveal its structure. A black hole is composed of an external event horizon, a second internal event horizon, and its singularity.
The event horizon marks the limit around the mouth of the black hole. As soon as a particle enters this horizon line, it is trapped and doomed to disappear. Gravity is constant in this zone, whatever the distance. However, it happens that matter, attracted by the black hole, ricochets on the event horizon. It is then projected outwards, accompanied by a shower of light jets of matter.
The singularity represents the inner region of the black hole. This is where the overwhelming mass of the object remains. The singularity is completely hidden and corresponds to the unique point where the mass of the black hole is concentrated in space-time.

Un "Agujero Negro" es una región finita del espacio en cuyo interior existe una concentración de masa lo suficientemente elevada como para generar un campo gravitatorio tal que ninguna partícula material, ni siquiera la luz, puede escapar de ella. Al seguir soplando dentro del globo, vemos como las galaxias dibujadas se alejan las unas de las otras, siendo el Universo la piel del globo. Nuestro Universo inflado no es infinito por qué tiene un radio aunque se puede considerar ilimitado, pues si ponemos una hormiga a caminar sobre la superficie de nuestro globo, no encontrará nunca un límite. En el caso de que un ser humano pudiera viajar por el Universo siempre en la misma dirección, al cabo de muchos miles de millones de años-luz de recorrido, volvería a topar con nuestro bien querido planeta azul.

В доме, где располагается ресторан, живет дед Кирилл, у которого несколько раз в год случается обострение и он мешает жить владельцу и посетителям ресторана. Нагиев и шеф пытаются найти подход к деду и утихомирить его. Вика съезжает со своей квартиры и предлагает кому-нибудь из персонала пожить там. Ключи берет Настя – но не для себя, а для Макса. Макс отказывается, но Настя начинает ремонт, и ему все равно приходится искать себе другое жилье.

Максим Лавров — молодой провинциальный парень из Воронежа, всю сознательную жизнь грезящий о карьере высококлассного повара. Своими кулинарными талантами он удивляет близких и даже из скудного набора армейских продуктов умудряется создавать шедевры. Однажды судьба предоставляет ему шанс: военную часть посещает звезда шоу-бизнеса Дмитрий Нагиев, который, попробовав несколько блюд амбициозного парня, оставляет ему свою визитку. Закончив службу, Максим остается в Москве и пытается устроиться на работу в шикарный столичный ресторан «Claude Mone», владельцем которого и является Дмитрий.

На новом месте его встречает гениальный шеф-повар Виктор Баринов, способный даже из картошки сделать блюдо, за которым будет выстраиваться очередь. Правда есть одно но: человек он достаточно специфический, взбалмошный, нервный и азартный, а его необузданный характер за много лет никто так и не смог усмирить.

Наблюдая за интригами, разворачивающимися на кухне, терпя насмешки от младшего персонала, преодолевая последствия подстав и издевательств, Максим будет пытаться добиться доверия и расположения Баринова, ведь только он решает кому достанется роль чистильщика картошки, а кому — исполнителя сложного блюда. 🌍 Vous est-il déjà arrivé de contempler le ciel étoilé par une nuit d’été ?
En levant la tête vers le cosmos, des questions existentielles se bousculent dans notre esprit. Sommes-nous seuls parmi les étoiles ? Jusqu’où s’étend notre univers ? Quels mystères peut-il bien abriter ? Que se cache-t-il aux confins de ce que nous pouvons observer ?
Ces interrogations, aussi terrifiantes que fascinantes, dépassent nos capacités de compréhension. Et malheureusement, il est probable que nous ne trouvions jamais toutes les réponses… Mais les découvertes scientifiques et les avancées technologiques de ces dernières décennies nous ont tout de même permis d’ouvrir les yeux !
Notre vision et notre compréhension de l’univers sont limitées et ce dernier nous réserve son lot de surprises.
Trous noirs, exoplanètes, étoiles-vampires, supernova, comètes, nébuleuses, matière noire…
Oui, l’espace regorge de curiosités toutes plus surprenantes les unes que les autres !

💥 Voyage dans notre Univers :
• Si notre univers est vieux d’environ 14 milliards d’années, il faut savoir que notre Voie lactée est née presque en même temps que lui.
En effet, les recherches scientifiques ont permis d’estimer son âge en observant les corps les plus anciens qu’elle abrite.
C’est notamment le cas de l’étoile HE 1523-0901, l’une des plus anciennes de notre galaxie.
Âgée de 13,2 milliards d’années, cette géante rouge est située à 7500 années-lumière de la Terre. Une nouvelle qui avait alors surpris les scientifiques, dont l’astronome Anna Frebel et son équipe, à l’origine de sa découverte en 2007.
Or, seulement 6 années après, ce fut au tour de l’étoile HD 140283 de lui voler la vedette. Les estimations ne permettent pas de savoir précisément quel est son âge.
Les mesures réalisées avec le satellite Hubble menaient à la conclusion qu’elle pourrait bien avoir 14,5 milliards d’années, ce qui est plus que l’univers observable…
Mais la prise en compte de l’incertitude des résultats et les nouvelles mesures ramènent cette estimation entre 13,2 et 13,7 milliards d’années.

Proxima du Centaure, appelée encore Proxima Centauri, est l’étoile la plus proche de notre soleil jamais découverte.
Mais attention, avec les technologies dont nous disposons actuellement, il nous est impossible de l’atteindre.
Imaginons que vous soyez au volant d’une navette spatiale allant à la vitesse de 100 km/h.
Pour vous rendre jusqu’à Proxima, il vous faudrait 60 millions d’années…
Maintenant, si vous aviez la possibilité de voyager à la vitesse de la lumière, la durée du trajet serait plus acceptable.
Un peu plus de 4 ans seulement !
Située à près de 40 000 milliards de kilomètres du soleil, il s’agit d’un astre peu massif et peu lumineux en comparaison du nôtre.
Proxima serait environ 8 fois moins massive et 20 000 fois moins brillante que le soleil.
Quant à sa taille, on estime qu’elle serait 7 fois moins volumineuse.
Elle appartient à la catégorie des naines rouges.
Les naines rouges sont les étoiles les plus répandues dans notre galaxie.
Elles représentent environ 80 % des étoiles qui la composent, soit un total de 240 milliards sur les 300 milliards d’étoiles que compte notre galaxie la Voie Lactée.
Ces planètes sont respectivement nommées Proxima B, C et D.
Malheureusement, ces Nouveaux Mondes ne semblent pas être des candidats idéaux pour l’émergence de la vie telle que nous la connaissons.
En raison de son champ magnétique puissant et instable, les éruptions solaires sont fréquentes sur Proxima Centauri.
Ainsi, bien que Proxima B se situe dans la zone habitable de son étoile, les chances qu’elle abrite des formes de vie restent minces…
Ces étoiles doubles sont désignées sous le nom d’Alpha Centauri A et B et, avec Proxima (Alpha Centauri C), elles forment un système stellaire peu commun.
