"Шура — женщина 45 лет, привлекательная вдова. Она живёт вместе с 25-летним сыном, невесткой и внуком в одной квартире. Работает бухгалтером. Шура готова отдать всё до последнего сыну и внуку. Мягкая и отзывчивая, она помогает всем, чем и пользуется её невестка. Сын Шуры Игорь — подкаблучник. Он без памяти любит свою жену, которая ему изменяет, и готов даже предать мать ради спокойствия жены. Сын разменивает квартиру матери, и Шура оказывается в коммуналке на окраине города.
Шура уезжает с внуком отдыхать в деревню, где встречает свою любовь — Фёдора, доброго, честного и работящего мужчину. У него есть жена Нинка, хитрая и противная, которая превращает его жизнь в каждодневный ад.
Между Шурой и Фёдором вспыхивает любовь, но Шура уезжает обратно в город, так как не может встать между Фёдором и Нинкой.

"Pandoy: Alalay ng Panday" (The Blacksmith's Assistant) is a 1993 fantasy comedy film which tells the story of Pandoy, a blacksmith, who must forge a magic sword from a meteorite to combat Lizardo, the prince of darkness.

Co-written and directed by Tony Y. Reyes and together with co-writers by Vic Sotto and Joey de Leon, the film stars Joey de Leon in the title role. Among the other cast members are Mariz , Sharmaine Arnaiz, Val Sotto, Joel Torre, Sunshine Cruz, Ritchie D'Horsie, Yoyong Martirez, Domingo Landicho, and Panchito among others. The film was also one of the entries in the 1993 Manila Film Festival.
