"Pandoy: Alalay ng Panday" (The Blacksmith's Assistant) is a 1993 fantasy comedy film which tells the story of Pandoy, a blacksmith, who must forge a magic sword from a meteorite to combat Lizardo, the prince of darkness.
Co-written and directed by Tony Y. Reyes and together with co-writers by Vic Sotto and Joey de Leon, the film stars Joey de Leon in the title role. Among the other cast members are Mariz , Sharmaine Arnaiz, Val Sotto, Joel Torre, Sunshine Cruz, Ritchie D'Horsie, Yoyong Martirez, Domingo Landicho, and Panchito among others. The film was also one of the entries in the 1993 Manila Film Festival.
